This is a beautifully dark smokey quartz sphere with excellent swirls of smoke, but the 3 colors of thick rutile bands are what push this over that AMAZING edge!
This has thick bands of golden rutile that are stunning and can be seen deep, then there are steel colored rutile, what I suspect to be hematite, upon closer inspection you can see very fine small silver rutile all over it too! There are deep spots of smokey color yet the clarity is exception when held up to a light source!
Excellent addition to any serious collector!
